Calling all Alumni of the Lyndeborough Central School
LCS Alumni Event
Sunday, June 14 from 5-7pm
Photo at 6:00pm
Alumni of the Lyndeborough Central School or any of the one-room schoolhouses are invited to the LCS Alumni Event to share stories and photos of their schooldays in Lyndeborough.  Be part of a special photo with your classmates to be taken at 6:00pm.
Say good-bye to the small elementary school and honor an “End of an Era”.  The school will become a kindergarten facility.  Pot luck desserts and appetizers are welcomed.

The Elementary School Historic Committee will be publishing books on the history of Lyndeborough and Wilton’s Elementary Schools.  Share your stories and photos.  Stories/photos can be sent prior to the event.  Volunteers are needed.

WLC Teachers, Students honored by VFW

Holly Gladsden and Michel Dupont were recognized recently by the Merrimack VFW for their dedication to teaching citizenship.  Seventh grader Mackenzie Hayden was awarded first place in the Patriots Pen Essay while eleventh grader Sara Holka earned first place in the high school Voice of Democracy audio essay contest.  Congratulations to our WLC Warriors!

Enterovirus in Area

The City of Nashua Division of Public Health and Community Services recently sent information to our district about Enterovirus D-68 (EV-D68), a respiratory illness that can cause mild to severe cold and respiratory symptoms.  As of September 10, 2014, a total of 84 people across six states have been confirmed cases of EV-D68. The towns of Wilton and Lyndeborough are in the area that needs to be aware of this community health concern.  Please click on this link to learn more information.
